The opening ceremony will also feature the launch of the EALS Institute and the E-Institute. The two products have been pioneered by East Africa Law Society deliberately in effort to boost capacity of members and governments in tackling emerging challenges especially in international trade, international law, and justice administration. The capacity building initiatives have been designed to make use of both in-person and online learning, and shall be offered affordably to members and other stakeholders.
The opening ceremony will also feature the launch of EALS Affinity Card, the unique membership card built on NFC technology to facilitate identification and payment by members. The card, sponsored by EALS and KCB Bank, contains discount wallets that enable members to access exclusive discounts across various services while providing easy payment modules. The card is designed to complement the functioning of the EALS Institute and E-Institute as it enables members to easily pay for trainings.
