Yufnalis Okubo is the current Registrar of the East African Court of Justice (EACJ).
Prior to joining the Court, Mr. Okubo was the Legal Counsel to the Intergovernmental Authority for Development (IGAD), a Regional Economic Community where he was in charge of the legal division and institutional affairs. He also practiced law in Kenya and dealt with high profile cases, in both civil and criminal practice. He brings to the Court wide experience both in law and administration.
Mr. Okubo holds the Degrees of LLB (University of Nairobi Faculty of Law), LLM (University of Nairobi Faculty of Law) also a graduate of Business Administration (Moi University, Kenya).
